The Islamic Manuscripts Press of Leiden (IMPL) is committed to producing published editions of salient works of Islamic scholarship. Many of the titles published by IMPL represent titles extant only in manuscript form. With an emphasis on premodern philosophy, Sufism, Shiʿi mysticism, Quranic exegesis, and Islamic theology, IMPL seeks to make carefully edited versions of texts available to the public and to the academy.
